Major steps in an innovative method for food production
A young company with 36 employees farming vegetables and spices in an innovative way - in ‘plant units’ with light and climate control. The goal is to provide the growing world population with safe, nutritious, tasty and affordable food. The company provides a wide range of applications, from ennoblement, the production of vegetables, spices and fruit, to the production of ingredients for baby food, medicine, flavors and fragrances and cosmetics. The challenge was to move from the development phase to the selling phase, placing climate production units worldwide. This brought challenges for the need of employees and materials, but also regarding the cooperation with governments for locations. Also there had to be taken important juridical steps. After the energizing program, the employees have been getting more responsibilities, and a necessary reorganization has been put in motion. Within eight months there have been found three locations for the construction of new plant units, and moreover four plant units are planned.
