Decreased resistance and progressively smoother process at merging 112-emergency-rooms
Energizing program for the merger of several 112 emergency rooms to one joint emergency room. This is part of a national program bringing 23 existing emergency rooms to 10 emergency rooms. Because of the compulsory nature of the merger there was great resistance and a low willingness of working together. After the energizing program the resistance from the board, the management and the employees significantly decreased. Already a big part of the organization has been involved enthusiastically. During the year the plans have been more clear and decision making went progressively smoother. The costs of the merger project have been within the granted budget.
